Superstar's wife sings for A.R Rahman!
Superstar Rajnikanth is all set to treat his fans across the globe with his Vikrama Simha (Kochadaiiyaan in Tamil) very soon. In the process of its release, Rajini is giving a surprising treat to his fans and here comes one such special news about the flick.
Much to our surprise, Rajnikanth's wife Latha too sang a song in this album. For a solo melody that goes by the lyric 'Yedemaina Sakha..' Latha has lent her voice after years. Though she happens to be a trained singer, she never took to it seriously after her brief stint in 80s. Apart from Latha Rajnikanth, legendary SP Balu, Mano, Sadhana Sargam, Hemachandra, Chinmayi, Unnikrishnan and AR Rahman have sung other songs in the album.
Made with motion-capture technology and animation, Rajini's daughter Soundarya has directed the film. The music will be unveiled on March 9. Touted to be a story of a warrior prince and his kingdom, music album of this flick features nine songs scored by Oscar winner AR Rahman.
