Director of Tina & Lolo lashes out at rumours

Director of Tina & Lolo lashes out at rumours

debut film Jism 2 has been quite active with multiple films on the anvil. In fact it's her packed schedule that has made the headlines. Apparently, Sunny who was shooting for her next film Tina & Lolo had to leave the shoot in Malaysia mid way and return to Mumbai to promote the music of her film Ragini MMS 2. What's more it was said that the makers of Tina & Lolo had to bear the cost of travel as well as reschedule the shoot for their film to accommodate Sunny.

However, reacting strongly to these rumours, Devang Dholakia, the director of Tina & Lolo says, "I don't understand how such news has been circulated. It is true that we were in Malaysia shooting for our film but we were more than happy to accommodate Sunny. After all, we are all in the film making business and must support each other during our promotions. All of us, from producers, to directors to actors and the many technicians involved in making a film work long and hard to create a product that we hope will be appreciated by the audiences."

Venting his anger further, Dholakia added, "As such, it is very disheartening when our lead actors cannot promote the film due to date issues. Sunny is a very committed actor and has worked extremely hard on both Ragini MMS 2 and my film Tina & Lolo. Our entire unit believed that in the spirit of solidarity we should give her a day off to return to Mumbai to promote the music of Ragini MMS 2. After finishing off her promotions, Sunny promptly returned to Malaysia to resume shoot. I truly appreciate the effort that she has put in to doing right by both these film despite having no rest and working long gruelling hours. As far as us taking a hit financially goes, I would clearly like to state that this is not true and that we have willingly sent back Sunny for promotions of our own accord."
