Sources tell us that Tamanna is slated to do an item song in the untitled film that Bellamkonda Srinivas, son of popular producer Bellamkonda Suresh, is debuting with.

V.V. Vinayak is directing this film and Samantha is playing the female lead opposite Srinivas.

Shooting for the film is going on at a brisk pace in the city’s outskirts and the makers are planning for a May release.

The item song will be shot towards the end of April or beginning of May.

Tamanna, meanwhile, is busy with two films, Aagadu and Baahubali.

Though the film is slammed by critics as a regular masala flick, Jilla went on collecting more than 50 crores just in the initial weeks. Vijay’s star power and Mohan Lal’s terrific presence have helped the flick garner huge attention in B and C centres. Looking at this movie’s phenomenal success, now plans are on to remake it in Telugu with Jr NTR and Balakrishna in the leads. But this combination is something little tough as both these Nandamuri heroes are at logger heads from a time. There a new combination is being heard now.

A producer is now working on Allu Arjun and another mega hero combination. Apart from Nagababu, none will fit that Mohan Lal’s role aptly. We have to see how far this will materialize but strong buzz says that the project will be started at the earliest.

An exclusive report is now out regarding the scenes for which Censor Board has objected when it comes to Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest movie ‘Legend’. It is surprising to see that no other political stuff apart from NTR has upset this movie’s prospects at Censor office.

Balayya’s ‘Legend’ has certain scenes that show the 80s political movement of late Legendary NT Rama Rao. Also there is a dialogue where the lead characters take reference to NTR by calling him as ‘Peddayana’ and indirectly referring to his works. Censor Board has felt that these dialogues and scenes might work out as supporters for Telugudesam party and that might receive flak from opposition of TDP. For the same reason, Censor Board asked Legend makers to get clearance from Election Commission  and EC responded positively that they don’t have any objection for them.

Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruti president and TRS chief KCR’s daughter Kavitha once again came down heavily on Jana Sena party founder, Pawan Kalyan.

Speaking to reporters Kavitha ridiculed Pawan’s party saying, ” Before elections it is makeup, after elections it will be pack up.”

She added that Pawan was giving speeches by keeping Gaddar on his left side and Narendra Modi on right side.

He would not have announced the launch of the party in star hotel if he was aware of people’s problems, she said. She also said that Pawan Kalyan’s entry in politics is like the entry of comedian Brahmanandam in a serious film.

A Harley Davidson bike used in forthcoming Telugu actioner “Legend”, starring Balakrishna, is likely to be auctioned and the proceeds will go to Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute here.

The Boyapati Srinu directorial releases in cinemas Friday.

“Post the release of the film, the makers are planning to auction the bike for a noble cause. The amount collected from the sale will go to Basavatarakam Cancer hospital. They are actually planning to organise an event for this soon,” the film’s spokesperson told IANS.

Meerut: Actor-turned-politician Nagma was in for a shock on Sunday when a local Congress MLA Gajraj Sharma misbehaved with her during a poll campaign in Hapur.

Nagma, who is a Congress Lok Sabha candidate from Meerut, was taken aback when MLA Gajraj Sharma attempted to molest her publicly.

Highly annoyed by the MLA’s nasty behaviour, Nagma removed his hand from her body and walked away without addressing her supporters in Hapur where she had gone to inaugurate a party office and to pay obeisance at the local gurudwara.

It Seems Super Star Krishna’s family is the first Tollywood family to face the heat of Telangana after the formation of the State is inevitable.

The issue of Padmalaya Studios is in the news for several months from now. Few months back TRS leader Harish Rao filed a case in the Court seeking action against Padmalaya Studios for misusing the land allotted to it by the Government. Harish Rao alleged that out of the allotted 9 acres of land, 5 acres had been alienated to Zee Telefilms by Padmalaya Studios in Jubilee Hills. However, the Court dismissed Harish Rao’s petition.

But with the formation of Telangana, the issue once again came to light. Now, it seems Krishna’s family is landed in a big trouble. The District authorities, mainly the present Hyderabad District Collector Mukesh Kumar Meena have now decided to reopen the case for violation of certain conditions. He wrote a letter to the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration to cancel the land allotment to the Padmalaya studios.

The State Government allotted the land for the construction of the studio at Jubliee Hills in 1982. But, later a part of it was sold to Zee Telefilms.

However, the Collector said that A.P Land Management Authority will have an investigation on the violation of the agreement and a decision will be taken soon.

If really the agreement proves to be illegal,  then the land allotted to Padmalaya Studios will be taken back.
