Two big hurdles for Telugu movies

A good movie will make big collections only if its release timing matches with holiday season. Otherwise, there will not be massive opening collections and huge turnout of audiences to theatres. There is one such terrific season ahead for Telugu movies, and that is under threat now.

March, April and May are really three big months for movie makers, as summer holidays provide them huge opportunity to release their flicks. This is the season many producers will focus after Sankranthi and Dasara in Tollywood where maximum number of kids and students are on holidays. However it seems like 2014 summer is not going to be paradise for Telugu producers. With both General elections and IPL 7th season scheduled in between those three months, surely audience's attention will be drifted towards them, leaving movies away.

T20 Cricket is always a crowd puller, and this time elections are raking up huge curiosity due to lots of uncertainty in the country, politically. We have to see how Tollywood plans to face these two big hurdles in the potential summer season
