What did superstar Rajinikanth requested from Rajamouli on Saturday at the Telugu trailer launch of ‘Kochadaiiyaan’. Rajini, who takes interest in young talent, requested ace filmmaker S.S Rajamouli that he would like to come and visit the shooting of Baahubali. Rajamouli said this was one of the memorable moments of his life.

One of my most memorable moments: Rajini sir leaned across and said “Rajamouli, I want to come to sets of Baahubali and see your shooting. One of my most forgettable moment: I gaped at him tongue tied and said something resembling “Thank you sir”, posted Rajamouli on his Twitter page after meeting the superstar.

If Rajinikanth does visit the shooting of Baahubali, one can only imagine the hype it will create for film even in the Tamil audiences.

Maverick film director SS Rajamouli is an ardent supporter of Jaya Prakash Narayan and Lok Satta. JP is contesting for Malkajgiri Parliamentary constituency this election. JP began his election campaign from today there and he is joined by SS Rajamouli. Attack on Sampoo and Steven Shankar

Actor Sampoornesh Babu and director Steven Shankar of Hrudaya Kaleyam fame have been attacked at a hotel in Hyderabad. Reports suggest that the actor and director were partying at a hotel in Madhapur celebrating the success of the film when a gang of youngsters in a semi drunk state started hurling abuses at them knowing who they are. Sources say that the abuses lead to heated arguments and all this finally ended in the gang of youth physically attacking the actor and the director.

The bone of contention reportedly was that ‘how a person like Sampoornesh Babu could become a hero in the film’. The gang of youth reportedly had the presence of few individuals who have industry connections. As they belong to the industry they reportedly took offence on the film and that’s how the abuses were started initially. Despite such attack no case has been reported yet on them because of their industry connections, although a formal police complain has been launched. We have to wait and see if the police take action on them or if they are left with mild warning.

The director Steven Shankar is the one severely injured and he has been admitted into hospital and currently is under hospital care. The actor comparatively was mildly injured but this incident has shaken them up completely.

An exclusive report is now out regarding the scenes for which Censor Board has objected when it comes to Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest movie ‘Legend’. It is surprising to see that no other political stuff apart from NTR has upset this movie’s prospects at Censor office.

Balayya’s ‘Legend’ has certain scenes that show the 80s political movement of late Legendary NT Rama Rao. Also there is a dialogue where the lead characters take reference to NTR by calling him as ‘Peddayana’ and indirectly referring to his works. Censor Board has felt that these dialogues and scenes might work out as supporters for Telugudesam party and that might receive flak from opposition of TDP. For the same reason, Censor Board asked Legend makers to get clearance from Election Commission  and EC responded positively that they don’t have any objection for them.

A Harley Davidson bike used in forthcoming Telugu actioner “Legend”, starring Balakrishna, is likely to be auctioned and the proceeds will go to Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute here.

The Boyapati Srinu directorial releases in cinemas Friday.

“Post the release of the film, the makers are planning to auction the bike for a noble cause. The amount collected from the sale will go to Basavatarakam Cancer hospital. They are actually planning to organise an event for this soon,” the film’s spokesperson told IANS.

The pre-interval 11-minute fight sequence in Ram Gopal Varma’s forthcoming Telugu directorial “Rowdy” is one of the best of his career, says actor Manchu Vishnu, who will seen in the particular scene alongside his father Manchu Mohan Babu.

It Seems Super Star Krishna’s family is the first Tollywood family to face the heat of Telangana after the formation of the State is inevitable.

The issue of Padmalaya Studios is in the news for several months from now. Few months back TRS leader Harish Rao filed a case in the Court seeking action against Padmalaya Studios for misusing the land allotted to it by the Government. Harish Rao alleged that out of the allotted 9 acres of land, 5 acres had been alienated to Zee Telefilms by Padmalaya Studios in Jubilee Hills. However, the Court dismissed Harish Rao’s petition.

But with the formation of Telangana, the issue once again came to light. Now, it seems Krishna’s family is landed in a big trouble. The District authorities, mainly the present Hyderabad District Collector Mukesh Kumar Meena have now decided to reopen the case for violation of certain conditions. He wrote a letter to the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration to cancel the land allotment to the Padmalaya studios.

The State Government allotted the land for the construction of the studio at Jubliee Hills in 1982. But, later a part of it was sold to Zee Telefilms.

However, the Collector said that A.P Land Management Authority will have an investigation on the violation of the agreement and a decision will be taken soon.

If really the agreement proves to be illegal,  then the land allotted to Padmalaya Studios will be taken back.
