Anantapur: Although Union minister and mega
star Chiranjeevi took several steps to see that any differences between
him and Pawan Kalyan is not hyped up, few things went out of hand.
And
this showed up at the Bus Yatra meeting of APCC in Anantapur. The Bus
Yatra has reached its final leg and Chiranjeevi was addressing the
meeting.
When Chiranjeevi was lambasting BJP for its declaration
on state bifurcation, some fans of Pawan Kalyan raised slogans of “Pawan
Kalyan Zindabad!”
Chiranjeevi was visibly irked at these slogans and shouted at them, asking them to “Shut up”.

RGV tries to scare Patta Pagalu
Film maker Ram Gopal Varma is back again with another horror film
called Patta Pagalu. The director as we know has a great fascination for
horror films as much as he has for making new versions of Godfather. In
Patta Pagalu he has joined hands for the first time with actor
Rajsekhar.
Well for starters the film’s premise might remind one of the
director’s own Phoonk which was remade in Telugu as Raksha starring
Jagapathi Babu in an important role. In Patta Pagalu it looks like
Rajsekhar has replaced Jagapathi Babu from that film. Also except for
the central female character who is possessed everything else seems so
ordinary in terms of visuals. One has to wait and see if the film has
something more to offer other than what was shown in the trailer.

Actor Sampoornesh Babu and director Steven Shankar of Hrudaya Kaleyam
fame have been attacked at a hotel in Hyderabad. Reports suggest that
the actor and director were partying at a hotel in Madhapur celebrating
the success of the film when a gang of youngsters in a semi drunk state
started hurling abuses at them knowing who they are. Sources say that
the abuses lead to heated arguments and all this finally ended in the
gang of youth physically attacking the actor and the director.
The bone of contention reportedly was that ‘how a person like
Sampoornesh Babu could become a hero in the film’. The gang of youth
reportedly had the presence of few individuals who have industry
connections. As they belong to the industry they reportedly took offence
on the film and that’s how the abuses were started initially. Despite
such attack no case has been reported yet on them because of their
industry connections, although a formal police complain has been
launched. We have to wait and see if the police take action on them or
if they are left with mild warning.
The director Steven Shankar is the one severely injured and he has
been admitted into hospital and currently is under hospital care. The
actor comparatively was mildly injured but this incident has shaken them
up completely.

Balakrishna’s highest first week total in Krishna district is Simha which is some 90 Lakhs plus share. And Legend crossed the record in just 3 days of its release. The movie had collected 96 Lakhs share in the first weekend of its release. Similar rally is on every where in the state.
The noon shows on the third day were hit due to the elections in many places of the state otherwise the figures would have been higher. Trade analysts expect very good fourth day too due to Ugadi holiday. On the other side, the movie unit of Legend has started a three day success starting from today.
